What is Core Corner?

In light of the 2008 Presidential Primaries, I have been inspired to create a place where true conservatives with Core Beliefs, Core Values, and Core Principles can come together to discuss the important issues facing our great country. I hope this site will cause those with similar Core concerns to share their stories and inspire all of us to step up to the plate and make a difference. I believe that for too long, those of us with these Core stances have sat aside allowing others to make decisions for America. I believe it was our Core values that this country was built upon and has made America the great country that it is. If we stand aside and allow others that do not possess "The Core" that we possess to make vital decisions in our country, then we should not be surprised when America is being run by people without our Core!

My goal in creating this site is to boost the energy of those who have Core beliefs and values, but have not taken the step to support those like minded people either in office or who are running for office. The only way we get representation in our states and country is to support and vote for those sharing our concerns. So anything that should be added to this site in order to inspire "The Core" type of people to get involved, I believe is necessary. Therefore, any advice or tips on how to make this site better will be considered and appreciated!

Creationism

Since I was a young child in school, I have been force fed the Theory of Evolution. However, even before my acceptance of Christ, I knew that I did not evolve from a micro-organism. It is clear that all creation works together in a way that must have had a Creator; a Higher Power! Romans 1:20 says, "For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse." This means that, through creation, God is presenting Himself. His creation is proof of His existence! And we do not have an excuse to not believe in God based on not seeing Him. We can see and understand His invisible attributes by examing the things that He has made. His Power is displayed through His creation!

Although, for many of us, this is clearly understandable, the secular world refuses to acknowledge any validity in Creationism. It seems to me that it would take more faith to believe that our teeth somehow evolved from fish scales over the course of millions of years, than the faith that it takes to believe in a true and living God - a Creator.

I was very happy to have stumbled upon a couple videos that promote a new movie with Ben Stein. I never knew it before, but Ben Stein believes in a Creator and doesn't buy the secular world's Theory of Evolution. To see these videos for yourself click here and leave your comments!
